We are happy to offer dispersed camping within our park. These sites are not marked or developed, so we ask that all visitors follow the guidelines below to help keep the park safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone. Donations are appreciated to support upkeep and future park improvements.

Camping
Camp only in open areas where permitted.
The designated camping area is located to the left of the road as you enter the park or as you follow the road through the park there is a wooden bridge to the right that has open space for camping.

Vehicles/RVs must stay on roads, gravel, or existing clearings.

Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Stay limit: 3 days, 2 nights at a time

Fires
Check for fire bans before starting a fire.
Use existing fire rings or portable pits only.
Never leave fires unattended. Fully extinguish before leaving.

Pets
Pets must be leashed or under control.
Clean up after your pets.

Sanitation
Pack it in, pack it out – take all trash with you or leave in trash cans located throughout the park.
No dumping of tanks or graywater in the park.
Please use the park’s toilet facilities. Do not relieve yourself in camping areas or near water.

Property & Safety
Do not cut or damage trees.
Fireworks and explosives are prohibited.
Firearms may not be used in the park.
Drive only on established roads/parking areas.

Showers
Public showers are available at 320 9th Street, Marlinton, right beside the Greenbrier River Trail in town. Showers are by donation only.
